  • When you work-out, your body generates heat. Clothing and equipment cause friction. All of these are the breeding ground for bacteria; hence it's advisable to take a bath after exercising.
  • A good night's sleep boosts your immune system, equipping it with efficient power to fight infection which may reduce the lesions faster. Your skin needs beauty sleep as much as your body and mind.
  • Try to control stress as stress triggers off the adrenal glands to work over-time. This floods your blood with a hormone called cortisol which excites the sweat glands in your face to produce more oil. This excess oil may mix with dead skin cells and clog your pores, thus giving rise to more zits.
  • Mild acne can be prevented by using over-the counter products, so find a suitable product and stick to the regimen.
